We begin with our in-house P.S.J design team who are responsible for coming up with creative designs that reflect modern demand and timeless aesthetics.
After drafting, these designs are handed over to our prototyping team who use both modern technology and traditional techniques to develop prototype reproductions and molds.
From our design and prototyping, we develop a final mold and use a process called “lost wax casting” to produce products.
This process sees 925 sterling silver poured into plaster molds. Within these molds lies a tree-like inversion of the jewelry piece. When the metal cools, this “tree” is pared down and prepared for further treatment.
While there are automated ways of setting stones, P.S.J. chooses to do this by hand to achieve a perfect finish. Our expert stone setters are capable of setting both large and extremely small gems with precision.
At this point, jewelry pieces are beginning to take shape and resemble the final product that the original designers envisioned.
Now the pieces are all but finished, we use electrochemical plating to increase durability and enhance its appearance. This process uses an electric current to briefly turn the jewelry piece into an electrode causing a thin metal coating to form.
P.S.J. also provides e-coating services to further increase durability and prevent tarnishing. This is a similar process that involves running a current through the piece to apply an organic lacquer. This acts as an extra layer of protection.
At P.S.J., we are driven by our passion for jewelry and aim to produce only perfect pieces. We therefore subject each piece of jewelry we make to an extensive, multi-round quality control process.
We look for imperfections, faults, and ensure the piece meets our customer’s exacting standards. Only pieces that meet specifications are approved.
After the product is complete, we carefully package pieces according to customer requirements. We ship products safely to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition and are ready for sale or use.
Expertly produced and safely packed, we then ship our jewelry to our clients using major couriers such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, or any forwarder nominated by our clients.
